1. What Rolodex is. Rolodex is a personal, non-commercial tool that helps you organize professional contacts and draft outreach emails. It is operated by an individual, not a company, and is provided free of charge.
2. Data you provide and we process. With your explicit Google authorization, Rolodex reads your Gmail "Sent" mail to build a contact list and sends emails you approve. It stores, tied to your account: your profile, your contact list, a log of emails you send, and an encrypted Google token. It does not store the contents of your inbox.
3. Your data is shared with third parties to make the app work. You consent to this. To generate drafts and search the web, your contact information and email-related content are transmitted to and processed by Anthropic, PBC (the AI provider) and are subject to Anthropic's own terms and policies. Your data is also handled by the other service providers used to operate the site, which may include Google (Gmail & sign-in), the website's cloud host, and its database provider, and any other processors reasonably necessary to run the service. By using Rolodex you acknowledge and consent to your data being viewed and processed by Anthropic and these other relevant parties.
4. Security, assumption of risk, and no liability for data loss or leaks. The service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE," without warranties of any kind. While reasonable measures are taken (encryption, access controls), no system is perfectly secure, and you use Rolodex entirely at your own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or harm of any kind — including from unauthorized access, security breaches, data leaks, or disclosure of your data — and you agree not to hold the operator responsible for any such event.
5. Your responsibilities. You will only connect accounts and data you are authorized to use, and you are responsible for the security of your own Google account. You are responsible for reviewing every email before it is sent.
6. Deleting your data. You may permanently delete all data stored about you, and revoke the app's access to your Google account, at any time using the "Disconnect & delete my data" button on the Login page.
